Shabazi

In Neve Tzedek neighborhood of Tel Aviv, on a plot of about 290 square meters, a new house was built around an inner courtyard. The existence of the inner courtyard in the density of living in the neighborhood enables the connection between the inner space and the outer space, gives an experience of space, an experience that brings us the air, light and nature that makes it an integral part of the living space. To expand the connection between the external space and the internal space, the house was built around a high interior space. The interior wall facing the courtyard is all glass. The glass wall together with the existence of a separate stone structure in the courtyard gave a sense of shared internal and external space. In the stone building is located the kitchen and above it is a unit with an outdoor terrace towards the garden. On the bedroom floor there is a small balcony overlooking the high space - the living space. In the roof space is a master bedroom. A master bedroom opens onto a roof terrace above the stone structure. The façade of the building is typical of the facades of Neve Tzedek. In front, facing the street, is a small shop that blends in with the mosaic of shops in the streets of the neighborhood.
